Teens of Truth and Love (TOTAL)

The aim of TOTAL is to reach unbelieving teens for Christ, to grow believing teens in the truth of God’s Word, to teach them to apply the truth, in love, in their every day walk, and to enjoy and encourage one another. This is accomplished through outreach activities, group study and discussions,service projects and fellowship opportunities. Most of these activities are held weekend afternoons/evenings throughout the year.

CGBC TOTAL SUMMER SCHEDULE

The following are the activities for the summer. Come and participate in great opportunities to grow in TRUTH and to express LOVE.

JUNE

June 12: TOTAL Session
Time: 1:30pm
-- Regular meeting during the second Saturday geared toward fellowship and discipleship.

June 26: Walk for Christ
Time: 12:00pm
-- A door-to-door evangelism activity and learning opportunity.

JULY

July 14-16: Takeova 2010 Youth Conference - Stone Mountain, GA
($35 - includes registration, lodging, breakfast, lunch and dinner during the conference hours)
Time: TBA
-- A youth ministry conference at Berean Christian Church with the theme of "Life Under the Big Top: Who's your ringmaster?" John 16:33

July 25: Feed the Homeless
Time: 3:45pm
-- A service opportunity at the Our Daily Bread soup kitchen.

AUGUST

August 7: TOTAL Back to School Block Party/Giveaway
Time: 10am-3pm
-- An outreach activity at YMCA in collaboration with Springfield Baptist Church and Strong, Beautiful, & Godly Girls where donated school supplies will be given away for FREE. School supplies will be collected during the month of July.

August or September: TOTAL Fun

-- A fun and fellowship outing geared towards individuals who have participated in the above activities and activities throughout this past school year.
